Residual Current Devices (RCDs) and Toroidal Current Transformers

Static Electronic Compensation (SVGm) Systems

Static electronic compensation (SVGm) systems are the most accurate power factor correction solution for both unbalanced three-phase systems and facilities with inductive and capacitive reactive power. They can be used in industrial, commercial, or service facilities with three-phase systems and are not affected by facility harmonics. These devices require minimal maintenance and are much safer to use. The product range is equipped with rack-mounted standard cabinets designed to simplify installation.

Features and Functions:

  • Wide voltage and frequency range (50/60 Hz).
  • Does not generate harmonic currents and is unaffected by current harmonics.
  • Minimal maintenance required.
  • Power factor (Cos φ) range: from 0.7 inductive to 0.7 capacitive.
  • Web-based performance monitoring.
  • Built-in short-circuit protection.
  • Up to 100 devices can be connected in parallel for higher reactive power compensation capacity.

Applications:

An ideal solution for facilities with numerous single-phase and three-phase loads, whether inductive or capacitive. It is also suitable for facilities where the load fluctuates over short periods. Typical applications include:

  • Bridge cranes
  • Welding equipment
  • Elevators
  • Drilling/breaking systems
  • Data centers
